A UK-based printing company expanded its wide-format and packaging printing business capabilities by investing in a 1325 UV printer and a JWEI digital cutting table. The company serves a diverse range of industries, including tourism, fashion, lifestyle and luxury retail. Through arrangements made by JWEI’s overseas partners, the customer visited an existing user site to see the equipment working together in real production conditions, which helped them make an informed purchasing decision.

The company’s Managing Director, Kevin Walker, commented on the purchasing considerations:“One of our goals for 2026 is to continue expanding our packaging and large-format printing service portfolio. It features an effective working area of 2.5 m × 1.6 m and is equipped with a conveyor belt system. The cutting table supports a wide range of tools, including a routing tool for rigid materials such as aluminum composite panels and acrylic; a drag knife and creasing wheel for fast packaging prototyping and production; an oscillating knife tool for heavy-duty materials like corrugated board; and a kiss-cut tool for labels and stickers.

In addition, the cutting system’s drag knife capability enables the operator to precisely cut Heidelberg offset printing plates, allowing the production of complex spot varnish effects.
