Web-to-print self-adhesive labels and sticker manufacturer Stickershop has taken on a new JWEI CB03II-2516-RM cutting table to eliminate a manual cutting and finishing bottleneck arising from growing demand.

 

Supplied by JWEI, the 2.5x1.6m cutting table was installed at the Bristol-based firm’s premises in October

 

Stickershop director Shane Pritchard said: “We had looked at a range of cutting table but after thorough testing, and visiting an existing JWEI user  , the JWEI CB03II-2516-RM cutting table stood out for us. It is robust, adaptable, and very competitively priced.”The company said that with the addition of the JWEI cutting table, it can now offer a varied range of self-adhesive labels and stickers in a variety of ink options, in any size or shape and any quantity.This takes all of the company’s jobs from order to dispatch via proof approval, imposition, printer selection and cutting by using a barcode scanning system. The business said this level of automation makes it very efficient in processing large amounts of daily orders.The cutting tables in the JWEI series feature automatic precision cutting tools that enable the exact cutting depth to be achieved quickly, precisely, and efficiently.

 

 

A range of special tools are also supplied with each cutter that offer speed, power, and the flexibility to handle a wide variety of materials, such as Dibond, corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, textiles, wood, and a range of different plastics.
